12 challenging stations armed with solar-powered traps. The distinct desert terrain and creative target setting maximize the shooter's pleasure with a breathtaking view of the Las Vegas Valley and at least one concealed trap on most stations. The terrain covering more than 100 acres of naturally sculptured arroyos and rocky dry washes has been established as Gunfighter Village Sporting Clays since 1999.

Twelve skeet fields and six trap overlays are also available featuring LaPorte skeet machines.

Two fully stocked clubhouses, one for skeet and one for sporting clays, provide all the necessary gear from gun rentals and ammunition to supplies and clothes for the traveling shot gunner

Gun club logoOur goal is to handle the largest shoots, such as the U.S. Open. To mix things up more, we are able to set up a few extra traps for special events, such as a 15 station course.
At the base of Sunrise Mountain, Gun Fighters Village Sporting Clays uses the terrain of this landmark to maximize the creativity of the targets, while not taking away from the beauty of this desert setting and view of the Vegas Valley.

Designed by Dan Mitchell, each course is unique. Dan is almost an institution in the clay target business. As a master course designer and instructor, he had no problem working with the deep canyons, rolling hills and all of the other terrain that most courses could never duplicate.

The Gun Fighter Village Sporting Clays Clubhouse has a large Registration area, Pro-Shop and Lounge area for after the shoot. This 3,800 square foot facility lends itself to hosting private events after a private shoot or can handle very large sporting clays events. Gun Fighters Village Sporting Clays (Nellis Gun Club) is a member in good standing with the National Sporting Clays Association and the National Skeet Shooting Association.

Built by shooters for shooters, all of the staff members are professionals with many years in the shooting business. Nellis Gun Club has hosted the U.S. Open Skeet, Zone 7 Skeet Championships several times, and the crown jewel of the Winter Western Skeet Circuit, the Comstock Skeet Shoot. This is a veteran club with the right experience.

Las Vegas offers so much for the non-shooters. Las Vegas has become the top destination resort in the world. There are plenty of activities for the children as well…you just can't beat Las Vegas and Gun Fighters Village!!!

-The premier sporting clays facility in the west

-The largest Skeet and Sporting Clays facility in Southern Nevada

In conjunction with the Nevada State Rifle & Pistol Association and the National Rifle Association, the Nellis Gun Club will hold a junior small-bore program on the 4th weekend of every month (November & December is on the third weekend) from 8 a.m. to noon. The purpose of this program is to introduce junior shooters (ages 8 to 16) to the shooting sports, teaching safety, marksmanship and responsibility while they have fun. The cost for this program is $5 per shooter or $10 per family. Contact the Gun Club for more information.
