The base Sports and Fitness Center is an outstanding place to work out and get in shape. It features two basketball courts, three weight-lifting rooms, cardiovascular exercise room, racquetball courts, and men's and women's saunas with locker and shower facilities

Outdoor facilities include four tennis courts, a 3/4 mile running track with an adjacent locker room facility, a 1/4 mile running oval, four softball fields, a football/soccer field, and six picnic pavilions. Instructional classes, such as aerobics are offered weekly. Plus, nautilus and free weight training are available upon request. The Sports and Fitness Center also offers several special activities throughout the year

Intramural sports also play a vital role in the health and wellness of Nellis Air Force Base members. The program offers basketball, team racquetball, volleyball, bowling, softball, golf, tennis, and flag football.

Basically, during the sign up process, you will receive information about the turnaround time for receiving an email with your PIN. The PIN will allow you to log on to the tracking site http://utrakit.fitlinxx.com/ to activate your account.
Afterwards, you'll be able to track all your exercise activity from any computer w/Internet access -- you won't need to use a FitLinxx(R) kiosk.

The fitness center also offers various classes:
  • Yoga ClassA free yoga class is held every Monday at noon and Saturday at 9:30 a.m. This class is open to all active duty personnel, retirees, Department of Defense and
    Non-appropriated Fund employees and family members.


  • Aerobics Classes Free aerobics classes are held Monday through Friday. Call the Fitness Center for a schedule. This class is open to all active duty personnel, retirees, Department of Defense and Non-appropriated Fund employees and family members.
  • Power Cycling Classes Are offered Tue. through Thurs. at 6 a.m., Mon. through Fri. at noon, Mon. through Wed. at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
